(Born in Vinkovci, 1974.), from 2012 works as an assistant professor at the Chair in Cultural Management od the Department of Cultural Studies, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. Teaches courses in sociology and scientific research methodology. His main fields of scientific interest are research methodology, sociology of education, economic sociology, sociology of science and sociology of religion. .
He graduated sociology from the Department of Sociology, Facuklty of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Zagreb (Croatia). At the same institution he got his PhD in sociology. His completed his PhD thesis Religion in Croatian Society: Between Ethnoreligious Identity and “Invisible” Religiosity in 2010 (field of social sciences, sociology). Since 2005 he has been involved in numerous applied research in the fields of marketing, public opinion research and public relations. He has also been working as a consultant for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
He co-authored a university textbook An Introduction into the Methodology of Social Sciences. He has published numerous scientific papers, and has presented papers at numerous national and international scientific conferences. He has led a scientific project called Cultural Capital and Educational Success.
