Based on the inter-institutional Erasmus + agreements signed by the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Department of Cultural Studies has established Erasmus+ cooperation with various units of the following universities:
Alpen Adria Universität Klagenfurt (Austria), University of Vienna (), University of Cadiz (Spain), Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), Latvian Academy of Culture (Latvia), MF Norwegian School of Theology (Norway), University of Beira Interior (Portugal), University of Lisbon (Portugal), University of Porto (Portugal), Polytehcnics of Porto School of Education (Portugal), Adam Mickiewitz University (Poland), Marmara University (Turkey), Hochschule der Medien (Germany), Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Spain), and University of Pisa (Italy).
Additionally, on the basis of bilateral international agreements signed by the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (they can be found at the following link: http://www.unios.hr/?g=5&i=6), the Department aims to establish specific forms of cooperation with institutions of similar mission and the scientific research and teaching goals.
Thus, the Department of Cultural Studies has established intensive cooperation with the Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart (Stuttgart Media Universit ), which so far has been translated into the Erasmus exchange and a joint project called Creative Danube: ” Places to see , places to be!” , financed from the funds of Baden-Wuerttemberg Stiftung GmbH and Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart, with the planned duration from June 2015 to February 2016. In cooperation with various partners from several Danube countries the Department of Cultural Studies and the Hochschule der Medien applied on the INTERREG project tender with the Creative Flow to Economic Growth project at the end of 2015.
On the territory of the Republic of Serbia the Department has built a partnership and signed a cooperation agreement with the Institute for Culture of Vojvodina Croats in Subotica. This partnership, with the help and cooperation of the Franciscan monastery in Subotica, has led to the implementation of student practice in the library of the Monastery during the academic year 2014/2015, with plans to continue the student practice, as well as to extend the cooperation with regard to organization of professional and scientific conferences on cultural topics.
The Cooperation Agreement that the University of Osijek signed with the University of Pecs (Hungary) has been transformed into a cooperation between the Department of Cultural Studies and the Faculty of Humanities in Pécs. Both institutions co-organized an international conference The scientific , educational, cultural and artistic policies – European realities held in May 2015 in Osijek.
